During his tenure at the NYPD he worked in patrol and at the Communications Division. He was one of the principle authors of the Public Safety Wireless Advisory Committee Report that defined the radio system needs for public safety for the next 25 years. He has chaired various Federal Communications Commission subcommittees as both a police lieutenant and a consultant.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Since his retirement he has consulted on radio and 911 systems for major public safety agencies including the New York Fire Department, the NYPD, the MTA\/New York City Transit, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Ted\u2019s experience managing large multi-million dollar programs helps NCAN with relationship management and logistics. His passion for supporting NET patients has led him to meet with senior management at the FDA and the American Cancer Society.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Ted supports NCAN\u2019s fundraising activities, conferences, and events, and he has created the Uncork a Cure for Neuroendocrine Cancer fundraiser at a Long Island winery.
