Meet Rae Lynn<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Rae Lynn and her husband, Matt, relocated from Minnesota to New Mexico in 2017 for his career. For much of her life, Rae Lynn has battled gastrointestinal (GI) and other medical issues, often without clear answers. In May 2025, she underwent an endoscopy for unrelated GI concerns, and received an unexpected diagnosis in June: Type 1, Stage 1 Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs).<\/span><\/h6>\n
Following her diagnosis, Rae Lynn and Matt were introduced to the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN) and joined one of its monthly Zoom support meetings. In just a couple months, they gained more insight and clarity than they had navigating local medical systems. That contrast sparked a desire to advocate for other NET patients who may also be facing a lack of information, delayed diagnoses, or feelings of isolation.<\/span><\/h6>\n
Rae Lynn wants to help other patients connect with reliable resources and feel empowered in their journey. She is committed to increasing awareness, sharing knowledge, and supporting others affected by NETs. Like many others, her story is a reminder of the power of patient-led advocacy and the importance of community in navigating rare diseases. <\/span><\/h6>\n

You will always find lots of the most up-to-date information on NET\/Carcinoid testing, treatment options, and lifestyle tips available to educate and help you along your journey.<\/p>\n

Each NCAN Support Group is led by, and for, people who have, or are caring for someone, with NET\/Carcinoid Cancer. Together we understand and can support what each other is going through.<\/p>\n
