ncan support groups – missouri chapter

Meet Kim

Diagnosed January 2016 after numerous years of trying to get anyone to listen. I am familial, mid gut primary. My mother had NET and passed away in 2010. I am part of the NET Familial Study at the NIH and get my local care at Siteman. I am a retired doula, childbirth educator, and lactation counselor. I’ve been married to Chris for 37 years, we have 2 grown children, both married. My favorite activity is anything involving one or more of our four grandsons.

ABOUT OUR GROUP

NCAN Chapter Support Group meetings are built on the concept of patients helping patients.

Our meetings are all about getting to know people who understand exactly what you’re going through, and about getting you the most up-to-date information on NET testing, treatment options, and lifestyle tips.

Our group is comprised of patients and caregivers/spouses from all over the St. Louis metropolitan area. We have members actively going through treatments, members who are NED (no evidence of disease), and members who are stable. We are all anxious to learn from each other and help navigate this journey. We’d love for you to join us.
